He has been leading prayers for us as well, and doing an excellent job. He will be teaching How to Read the Quran from scratch, alphabet to pronunciation. He will not be focusing on memorization, as others have in the past. ISF wants to form classes as soon as possible. If you are interested in enrolling your child for Quran class, please email Rachel Noor at

FOOD BANK NEEDS DONATIONS AND HELP FROM ISF
Saturday, 04 October 2008 19:56
Rachel Noor
Dear Community members, Please read the following article from the Frederick News Post: http://www.fredericknewspost.com/sections/news/display.htm?StoryID=78366 To summarize, the Frederick County Food Bank needs our help, desperately. To continue the spirit of Ramadan even after Eid, let us give back to our local community by helping the Frederick County Food Bank by getting regular food donations. ISF, in coordination with the Frederick County Muslim Political Action Committee, is still sponsoring a canned food and non perishable food item drive. Please drop your donations in the box in the masjed lobby. If you are a business owner, consider giving a regular donation. If you run an MSA, help by doing food drives. Let us really band together to show Frederick County what the Muslim community can do! Rachel
